Transmoto Suspension Prep

12 hours is a long time to fight a badly set-up motorcycle.

Mountain Race Shop prepares dirt-bike suspension around the rider, the bike and the job it has to do. We diagnose the problem first, then recommend servicing, springs, revalving—or nothing more than setup changes if that is all the bike needs.

Tell us what the bike is doing

Endurance riding magnifies small suspension problems

A problem that is annoying for twenty minutes can become exhausting after hours of braking bumps, roots, rocks and changing grip.

Harsh or deflecting?

We separate spring, damping, friction, geometry, tyre and maintenance causes before spending your money.

Kicking or packing?

We look at rebound balance, spring suitability, shock condition, ride height and traction—not just one clicker.

Diving or bottoming?

We diagnose support through spring rate, preload, damping, oil height, chassis attitude and rider use.

Transmoto preparation

Start with diagnosis. Do only what the bike needs.

Setup & Diagnosis

Sag, chassis balance, clicker settings, spring suitability and symptom-led fault diagnosis.

$50 Setup Saturdays on selected dates. The full $50 is credited if recommended suspension work is booked within 30 days.

Springs & Revalving

The Mountain Race Shop approach

We don't start with the modification.

We start with the rider complaint: harshness, kicking, diving, deflection, poor grip, fatigue or a bike that simply will not hold a line.

From there we work through sag, spring suitability, service condition, chassis balance and damping before recommending parts or internal changes.

Diagnose. Engineer. Tune. Teach.

Diagnose

Find the real cause rather than chasing clickers.

Engineer

Choose the minimum change that solves the actual problem.

Tune

Build a usable baseline for rider, bike and terrain.

Teach

Leave understanding what changed and why.

Don't leave it until race week.

Allow enough time for inspection, servicing, parts supply and any setup changes before 24–25 October. If you are unsure what the bike needs, start with diagnosis rather than ordering parts blindly.
