Service decisions are stronger when symptoms, spring setup, damping curves and shim stack behavior are understood together.
What the service covers
Know what you are booking
A fork service renews fluids and the included oil and dust seals, cleans and inspects the assemblies, then restores a repeatable baseline. Bushings and damaged parts are assessed and quoted when necessary. A service is the right starting point for a leaking or overdue fork; it is not a promise to correct every handling complaint.
A$320 for a loose component; A$360 with the complete bike. For loose work, arrange delivery or Canberra collection in advance. The bike's make, model and year help confirm the component and any unusual parts needs.
Will a service cure harshness?
A service can remove friction and contamination caused by worn or dirty components. Harshness can also come from spring rate, damping, geometry or tyres, so Craig will diagnose the cause before recommending extra work.
