What we actually do
Find the cause, then choose the solution
A harsh fork does not automatically need softer damping. A kicking shock does not automatically need more rebound. We look at spring rate, sag, preload, friction, geometry, tyres, service condition, damping and how the motorcycle is being used.
That may lead to servicing, springs, revalving or setup changes. Sometimes the correct recommendation is to change nothing at all.
