What we actually do
Find the cause, then choose the solution
A harsh fork does not automatically need softer damping. A kicking shock does not automatically need more rebound. We look at spring rate, sag, preload, friction, geometry, tyres, service condition, damping and how the motorcycle is being used.
That may lead to servicing, springs, revalving or setup changes. Sometimes the correct recommendation is to change nothing at all.

Getting suspension to the workshop
From Cooma, Jindabyne and Adaminaby, arrange a workshop visit at Shannons Flat with the complete motorcycle or bring loose suspension. Contact Craig before setting out so the service and parts can be planned around the bike.
Snowy Mountains riders may change between trail riding, motocross practice and loaded adventure trips. Describe the terrain and normal load, as well as the symptom; that context helps separate a spring or balance issue from a worn component or a damping issue.
Common booking questions
How much is motorcycle fork servicing?
A standard fork service is A$320 when the forks are supplied loose, or A$360 with the complete bike. Oil and dust seals are included; additional wear parts or repairs are confirmed before fitting.
Can you service both forks and shock?
Yes. Standard fork and shock servicing together is A$600 when both are supplied loose. A shock service alone is A$340 loose or A$460 on the bike.
Do you pick up in Canberra?
Monday Canberra pickup and drop-off is available with a confirmed workshop booking. Contact Craig to confirm the collection point, capacity and timing; do not assume collection in other towns.
Can I send loose suspension?
Yes, by arrangement. Contact Craig before sending forks or a shock so the components, return details and workshop timing can be confirmed.
