Craig is the person you speak to about the bike and the work it needs. The workshop is based at Shannons Flat, serving riders across the Snowy Monaro, Canberra and surrounding NSW regions.
Diagnosis before parts
Mountain Race Shop has worked with motorcycle suspension and handling since 1995. Craig asks what the bike does on the trail, track or road, then considers spring rate, sag, geometry, friction, service condition and damping before recommending a change. The workshop has been a K-Tech dealer since 2017.
Craig is the author of The Suspension Engineer’s Handbook. The Knowledge Centre explains suspension and workshop decisions, with technical sources linked in the relevant articles.
How to get started
Send the make, model and year, rider weight without gear, riding type and a description of the symptoms. Loose forks and shocks can be arranged for workshop service; complete-bike bookings and Canberra Monday pickup and drop-off are confirmed in advance.
